I had a tech come to my house because my upstairs air conditioner was not working. First, he sat outside in his truck on a personal phone call for 15 minutes. I finally opened the door so he would hurry up, he walked into my house, still o the phone, saying..."I love you too". Nothing like wasting time. Unfortunately most homeowners are too lazy to be anything close to handy in modern times. Most have a sense of entitlement. All they want to do is lay in bed and adjust there smart phone instead of get up and set the thermostat (DUMB) They are all staring into their crystal balls (smart phones). Don't trust. Was charged 100 just to check unit. Was told totally shot, was set up with a sales person. Next day called a mom and pop place for a second opinion. Wow 275$ later was up and running. A j total scam. Was told they are all about hard sales. Stay away. You been warned Read more

I am NOT a "Pissed Off" Perri customer! I have been in the trades industry for decades and have read all the complaints here in this forum. Every company has their "Haters". AC died on 4th of July. Having a Service Agreement, I called twice and a technician finally came. Tech charged me $355.00 for a part that Grainger has on line for $85.00. Only charged me an add'l $100.00 for service call since I have a Service Contract. He never checked to see if there was Freon. He left, and not even two hours later, the AC stopped working. We scheduled an 89.00 tune (per zone) of our AC due to the upstairs zone blowing warm air. The tech arrives and he's a nice guy. He checks the units and says we have a bad capacitor, that he can replace for $354.00. I recalled a neighbor telling me this was a 10-25.00 part from a few years earlier so I googled it. I had someone come out to do a "tune up" of my units.We have three outdoor units and in-wall ductless ac units. One of them was icing over. He said that it would be $850 to do a leak check for a refrigerant leak. At that point, he called "comfort technicians" and then I realized they are a sales company and not a maintenance company. I just Had a simple faucet replacement and was charged $792.00 dollars with a senior citizen and veteran discount.I hardly ever write a review but I think every consumer should be warned to get several estimates before allowing any company to take advantage in this manner.Although the Plummer was mannerly it is important to note that once they see an immediate problem that must be rectified the ball is then in there court.I payed 200% more by... We had a nightmare experience with A.J. Perri. They sold us services we did not need and at outrageous prices. Now knowing that the technicians are on commission, tells us a lot.
